Robert married Jane BUTLER, daughter of Sir William BUTLER and Unknown.

Their children were:

Jane married Baron Robert DE BULKILEH, son of Baron William DE BULKELEY and Unknown BUTLER. Baron Robert DE BULKILEH died before 1233.

He was a minor in 1293. He was a sheriff of Chesire and did homage in 1305.

Robert married Margery.

Their children were:

Margery married Robert LE GROSVENOR, son of Robert LE GROSVENOR and Margery. Robert was born in Hulme and died before 1328.

William married Maud DOWNES, daughter of Robert DOWNES and Unknown.

Their children were:

Maud married William DE MODBURLEGH.

Alan married Elena LA ZOUCHE, daughter of Baron Alan LA ZOUCHE and Eleanor DE SEAGRAVE, about 1317. Elena was born in 1288.

Their children were:

833732       i.  Alan DE CHARLTON (born about 1318 - died on 3 MAY 1349)

Elena married Alan DE CHARLTON, son of John DE CHARLTON and Unknown, about 1317. Alan was born in Apley, Shropshire Co, England and died on 3 DEC 1360.

He was the 1st Lord Gifford.

John married Maud CLIFFORD, daughter of Walter CLIFFORD and Margaret of Wales.

Their children were:

Maud married Lord John GIFFORD. John was born about 1232 in Brimsfield and died on 29 MAY 1299.

He may have been illigitemate.

Thomas married (name unknown).

Piers married Margaret DE CLARE, daughter of Gilbert DE CLARE and Joanne of Acre.

Roger married Avelinda DE CRUCE, daughter of Geoffrey DE CRUCE and Unknown. Avelinda DE CRUCE died in 1299.

Avelinda married Roger DE LEES.

Their children were:

Robert married Lucia DE ROS, daughter of Sir William DE ROS and Eustache FITZHUGH.

Their children were:

Lucia married Sir Robert DE PLUMPTON. Sir Robert DE PLUMPTON died in 1325.
